Lighted Art

Visiting the National Gallery of Art on a hunt for more connections between Art and Science.

Found a great installation in the tunnel that connects the east and west building by Leo Villarral called Multiverse.

It was awesome! Beautiful and intriguing it pulled the viewer in with it's choreographed light display. A little circuitry to bring back to this years art room... and homework for me to research additional science standards to connect this amazing installation with.

A blog dedicated to how “hiding the veggies in the art room” keeps student minds healthy and strong in the academic world. Interested in STEAM but not quite sure how to incorporate it into your classroom? Trying to find a way to mix in relevant art history into these types of lessons? Do you want to see real life classroom success stories? Then this blog has what your looking for. It's my art room and experiences... and the hope that it will help fill your art class with STEAM this and every year!
